Social studies reflection

 In social studies the topic that i liked the most was Government, Reason 1 was because I would like to know how it works and vote when I get older, number 2 is because I like to know about the people who run our country and lastly is that its just fun to learn about it and it interesting about why they are doing this for our country. The topic that I liked the lest is Sustainability i didn't really like sustainability because I didn't get any of it and I guess I didn't want to bother with any of i. In exams I think I did really good compared to what I did on the first social studies exam. Next year i can do better at picking up my attendance and coming to school on time to know what i'm actually learning about in class 

Ready to ban all Russian athletes

This is my news paper just saying that the Russian team in the Paralympics should be banned for the next Paralympics because they are doping and now there aren't that many people in there team because most of them have been disqualified for doping.

Revolution Tour

On the 12th of may we had the Revolution tour coming in to our school to talk about how we can be what we want and how we can be those things. As they were introducing themselves there was this big guy and his name is Reggie, Reggie was really funny but then he started talking about his past and he was saying that he had no parents. Everyone felt sorry for Reggie because his mother had three other kids which was 2 sisters and 1 brother and the mother kept them three but gave him away to her favorite teacher but it was really sad that some of us were crying. But the cool thing about Reggie is that hes American, he's funny and he's really good and playing the trumpet.


Then after there intro they started singing a few songs and then started talking about how successful you an be when you get older and then they made everybody stand up and do the running man challenge it was really funny watching the teachers as well.
Summer was like Reggie's sister but she really wasn't but they both treated each other like brother and sister, Summer had a really great voice she sang all of the songs with us and wow!, everybody was really surprised to hear her voice because she can go really high. Revolution had many great people but the one thing that Reggie told us is tat everybody has a past wither if it was a good past or a bad past but everybody does have a past.


The messages that revolution told us were really good to use and inspiring and the last thing they told us was to look at the person next person next to you and say I can, you can, we can and I got yo back . I really like Revolution tour because they teach many different schools and travel around the country and sometimes other countries.  I really hope that revolution tour comes again because they were inspiring, funny, and creative.

My name is Mahana. I am a yr 7 student at Pt England School. My home class teacher is Mrs Moala and my favourite subject in school are maths and writing. My goal for this year is to try my best in everything I have participated in for this year. My learning goal this year is to try my best in my writing and maths. My favourite band is Common Kings, and my favourite sports teams are the Lakers  basketball team and the Silver Ferns netball team. Camping at Kawau Island

yay! were going to camp in 2 weeks time we are going to kawau island, Mr Somerville said that it is a very cool and fun place to go. We are also going to be staying there for 4 weeks, we have already got our gear list, medical form and consent form. We have to also sleep in cabins with other people to.

We are also catching a fairy down to Kawau island, if you type up google maps and go on directions and type up your location it will tell you how long it will take you from were you are to were you want to go. when I type up from Pt England School to Kawau island or Snell's Beach it said it will take you 1hr and 18min to travel on a car, 2hr 29min on the bus, 6hr 1min on a bike and 17hr 44min when walking.







 I hope that all the year 6's have fun at Kawau island including me because it will be my second time going camping far away. when we get there we all have to sort out all of our stuff and get into groups. Have fun year 6's.
